Alchimiaweb is pleased to present the PAX 2, the second version of one of the best portable vaporizers on the market, developed in the USA and finally available across borders.
This small device was designed to offer a compact, easy to use cannabis vaporizer of the best quality. It has a large bowl so we don't have to fill it after few inhalations.
Being elegant and stylish, the surface is made of anodized aluminium with round corners for a more comfortable grip. It measures 10 x 3.1 x 2.2 cm, weighing around 98 gr.
The bowl is located on the bottom part of the PAX 2, covered with a highly magnetic lid so it is firmly secured if we have the device in our pocket or handbag. The bowl measures 18.5 x 8.6 x 10 mm, enough capacity for a good amount of marijuana .
The set temperature, the battery level and its charge status are shown with 4 cross-shaped LEDs, easy and intuitive. As we fill the bowl, one LED will turn on when we reach 25%, two LEDs for 50%, 3 for 75% and all 4 LEDs when it is 100% filled.
It also indicates when the device is heating up with 2 purple LEDs. When it is ready, the 4 LEDs will turn green. To set the temperature, long press the on/off button to enter the setting mode, and then short press to select the different temperatures: one green LED, two yellow LEDs, 3 orange LEDs and 4 red LEDs (180-215ºC). Perfect to find the perfect temperature to taste our cannabis buds .
Once we have our desired temperature selected, long press again for few seconds or shake the vaporizer. To check the battery status, shake your device and it ill show the remaining battery charge with the 4 LEDs.
It has a lithium-ion battery that recharges in 2-3 hours via USB or AC wall adaptor. It takes less than one minute to fully heat and the battery lasts for about 7-9 sessions, almost twice the duration of PAX 1's battery.
It also has an internal accelerometer that cools down the device when it detects that it is more than 30 seconds inoperative. It also decreases the heating temperature if it does not detect our lips in 20 seconds. It is automatically re-activated when moving the device or inhaling, and it will completely turn off if we don't use it in 3 minutes.
To use it, we only have to turn it on, fill the bowl with our grinded buds (not suitable to vape resins ) and wait for the LEDs to turn green. That's all! It includes two different mouthpieces for improved comfort.
