BIOTHUR is an aerobic, gram-positive, bacillus found naturally in soil and plants.
It was discovered in Japan in 1902 by Ishiwata and a few years later was isolated in Thuringen (Germany).
It was first sold in France, in 1938, and is now the most widely used biopreperation. Its larvicidal action varies depending on the chosen strain; the variety kurstaki, serotype 3a3b, has an action against Lepidoptera.
TRABE offers you the Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki, serotype 3a3b with a power of 16 millions of U.I./gr and 32 Millions of U.I./gr, compared to Trichoplusia ni, designed as an emulsifying powder, so as a result of both its power and formula, is it the best known and most effective natural enemy of Lepidopteran larvae, which attack both forest and crops.
