To make this limited edition hybrid, TH Seeds have chosen Watermelon as the mother, a very rare clone-only strain also known as Watermelon Kush or East Coast Watermelon. This is a very hardy variety, bred outdoors on the US east coast to create a medicinal cannabis hybrid with anxiety-soothing properties. The terpene profile gives off aromas of watermelon, underpinned with delightful hashy, fruity notes of grapes and berries. It finishes quickly, rewarding growers with a potent and heavy harvest after just 55-60 days of indoor flowering.
To complete this cross, the breeders at TH Seeds chose to pollinate Watermelon with a selected male plant of London Pound Cake x Kushmints, also called Pancakes, a hybrid bred by JBeezy of Seed Junky Genetics in association with Berner's Cookie Fam. LPC x KM is a mostly-indica variety with an terpene profile that brings to mind freshly-cooked pancakes topped with creamy butter and sweet berries. It offers a relaxing, cerebral effect that is ideal for stress and anxiety relief.
Watermelon x London Pound Cake x Kushmints, fast-flowering and resistant to mould
With this hybrid combining two outstanding parent plants, TH Seeds have unleashed a truly unique flavour profile on the world, mixing watermelon with berry and kush notes. The influence of LPC x KM brings larger, denser flowers with stunning colours, while the Watermelon contributes its high resistance to fungal pathogens of all types, particularly powdery mildew and botrytis, making it an excellent candidate for trouble-free outdoor cultivation.
Watermelon x London Pound Cake x Kushmints grows quite vigorously, reaching around 120-160cm in height and yielding a heavyweight harvest of big, dense and colourful buds, coated with a layer of sparkling trichomes. For indoor cultivation, the bloom phase is from 8-9 weeks. Yields are very good, producing from 500-600g per m2 indoors.
