Silicate (Mineral Magic) from Terra Aquatica (General Hydroponics) is a natural organic additive for nutrient solutions. It contains silicate, an essential trace element with beneficial effects for numerous plants, especially for hydroponic crops.
It has many beneficial effects: It contains ancient seabed deposits of biologically transformed organic matter as well as naturally formed silicic acid clay.
The wide range of elements it contains stimulates the growth of micro-organisms that are beneficial for the growth of roots as well as contributing to a healthy natural environment for the growth of the plant. It provides silicate in the form of silicic acid that enters directly into the plantcells and provides a reinforced shield against the attack of insects, the rot of the roots and pathogenic mould.
The natural colloids of T.A. Silicate increase the capacity of ion exchange in the nutrient solution. This increases the availability of mineral salts. It stabilizes the pH level of the solution and reduces the stress in fast-growing plants.
T.A. Silicate is not a fertiliser: it is an organic additive to the nutrients that provides the plants with additional elements for optimal growing conditions.
T.A. Silicate usage and dosage:
- Directly in powder, sprinkle a teaspoon (4g) on the stem’s base of each plant.
- In nutrient solution for hydroponic systems, add 4g of Mineral Magic per 10L of water.
- As foliar spray, dissolve 4g per 10L of water and spray the leaves directly.

Hello so i need to add it every week 4g on each plant steam and my question is does the dosage need to be increased if my plant is big or no?

Hi, thanks for your comment and question. The dosage and nutrient schedule is intended for average-sized indoor plants, so if you're growing big plants then I'd say yes, increasing the dose might be beneficial. I tend to use a couple of tablespoons around the base of my large outdoor plants. There's no need to apply weekly though, I usually do it 2-3 times in the plant's life, and the GHE nutrient schedule recommends applying in the 3rd week, again in the 4th week and then not again until the 7th week. Exactly, in this way the powder is mixed with the substrate and releases the nutrients. Just try not to disolve all the powder on the first watering, is that easy!

ok,if i understand,i must put mineral magic on the base of the plant (stem),then i must feed the plant with my regular feedind water (water+flora nova) ?? and use mineral magic once a week ,1 week previous the flowering ??

That's completely right. Start using Mineral Magic one week before the start of flowering and until 1-2 weeks before harvest, feeding your plants with your regular nutrient solution. (do not use it during the flushing period).

Hi sami,
Mineral Magic is used on the week previous to the onset of flowering and throughout this period. Simply put a teaspoon (4gr) of Mineral Magic on the base of each stem once a week until you start flushing your plants.
