The Outdoor Grapefruit variety has been created by Female Seeds to get a Sativa dominant cannabis strain , early to flower and resistant, adapted to be grown outdoors to offer an intense grapefruit flavoured plant, ready to be harvested from late September to October.
Alchimia Grow Shop presents this rustic version of Grapefruit, a fast flowering and resinous sativa plant, characterized by its strong fruity grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit genetics gives excellent results when grown indoors. Growing it outdoors in cold and humid areas is much harder.
Female Seeds' breeders wanted to give Grapefruit some Easy Sativa traits - an outdoor cannabis growing standard bred by the dutch seedbank from an early flowering sativa strain. Through a long work of crossing and backcrossing these genetics, Outdoor Grapefruit presents all Grapefruit's features, being composed of 80% of Grapefruit genetics.
The ideal period for seedl germination is from mid April to mid May, to allow Outdoor Grapefruit plants to receive a maximum of sunlight exposure until mid summer, when it will start to flower. For this reason, Female Seeds advices against germinating before these dates, and/or indoors to transplant them outdoors later on: in this conditions, Outdoor Grapefruit could start flowering in May, reducing the final yield. In normal conditions, harvest is done from late September to October.
Outdoor Grapefruit's smell and taste are very intense, fruity and enriched with hints of mint and pine.
