In the late 80's a historic selection was made in England using Skunk#1 seeds. A surprising and overwhelming aroma made it famous all over the country. In the mid 90's the legend was cemented when the clone ended up in the hands of the Exodus Collective. Exodus was a collective community set up in the early 90's on the outskirts of London, UK. It organised a multitude of raves and was involved in many alternative projects, always supporting legalisation until the collective disbanded in 2000. The raves were attended by as many as 10,000 people, with Cheese becoming the weed of choice among the participants.
UK Cheese clone is fast and easy to cultivate with a terpene true to its name. It produces very elastic branches, so trellising and netting is a highly advisable practice. Bubba Kush Pre98 is the result of an accidental cross in the garden of Matt 'Bubba' Berger in the 90's, a cultivator from New Orleans. Bubba's phenotype was then crossed with the Kush lineage. It produces hard spherical flowers that exude a very peculiar terpene, with a dark, earthy background. Certainly, a plant with the innate ability to make first class hashish.
Uk Cheese cuttings are pollinated with the female Bubba Kush pollen to obtain a more robust and less elastic structure with a more consistent flower, while increasing the THC content, resulting in a much more relaxing effect. UK Cheese x Bubba Kush is a vigorous plant but not in excess, so it is very suitable for indoor cultivation, highlighting its ease of cultivation and rapid flowering of about 56 days approximately. It offers remarkable yields of high quality that can exceed 400g of dry buds in 120cm x 120cm grow tent under good conditions. It is a very grateful hybrid with SOG cultivation and outdoors presents no problems, only in climates with excessive humidity towards the end of flowering.
