Zkittlez x Somango, a compact shrubby plant
This hybrid was developed based on the Zkittlez line [(Grape Ape x Grape Fruit) x a secret Indica], which offers a flavour reminiscent of the famous English sweetie. Its original cutting has received many awards, including first prize in the Indica category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Michigan and the San Francisco Cup both in 2015, as well as first prize at the California Emerald Cup in 2016, which launched it to fame, becoming a highly desirable cannabis strain.
The mother Zkittlez was then crossed with a superb 70/30 Indica Sativa male from a Somango selection (Big Skunk Korean x Jack Herer), which is also a very fruity variety.
Both parentals present a compact structure, with good secondary ramification and short internodes. The result is a robust and productive plant, inherited from Somango, with an easy cultivation and powerful flowers, from its mother.
Zkittlez x Somango presents a compact and dense growth with a tendency to adopt a shrubby and rounded structure, perfect for SCROG cultivation. Even so, the central cola slightly dominates the secondary ramification.
The harvest of this feminised Indica Sativa hybrid is ready in about 55-60 days of flowering in indoor cultivation, with a yield of up to 550-600g per m2 under optimal cultivation conditions. Outdoors the harvest is ready in early October.
Zkittlez x Somango, a tropical fruit delicacy
Among the great properties of this plant, the most interesting is the intense sweet taste dominated by ripe tropical fruits with citric notes. Pungent and long-lasting aromas and flavours reminiscent of mango and exotic fruit marmalade.
It is also an irresistible variety for lovers of fruity extractions, thanks to the dense, sticky, and resinous buds.
It produces a relaxing effect that is neither narcotic nor overpowering, with a fun and cheerful euphoric high ideal to be enjoyed with friends, for hobbies or just for a walk.
