Fish has been used as nutrient for plants for a long time. Native Americans had already observed that they could double the yield of a corn plant by burying a fish near its roots.
Fish meal (powder) is now available in Alchimia's catalogue. This top quality, hydrolysed product manufactured by Terralba is obtained from cold-water fish which have been dried at very low temperatures to keep all their nutrients.
This hydrolysed fish meal from Terralba is rich in nitrogen, so it's specifically recommended for the growth stage of plants. It also contains proteins, 20 amino acids, vitamins and minerals, which nensure healthy plants and vigorous growth.
Dilute 0.5-1gr powder per litre of water or mix it directly with the substrate (5gr/10L light soil).
