Here at Alchimiaweb we are happy to present the Lumatek Pro 600w controllable electronic ballast better known as Lumatek Ultimate Pro 600W. It works at two different voltages, 240V and 400V. The ballast detects automatically the bulb voltage once connected.
The 400V bulbs have a more complete PAR level than 240V bulbs. Its light spectrum is more effective and efficient, helping in the plant photosynthesis and providing more energy for a better development and bud production.
Lumatek Ultimate Pro 600 uses a microprocessor and software-controlled electronic. This allows the ballast to operate at a 120 KHz ultra high frequency, 120,000 cycles per second. This creates a solid light compared to typical ballasts that operate at 50Hz with flickering strobe light. With the 120 KHz ultra high frequency the ballast can work at lower power having a lower cathodes loss and ensuring greater energy efficiency.
Lumatek Ultimate Pro 600w and 400v, high quality professional ballast
Lumatek Ultimate 600 Pro ballast is ideal for indoor gardening whether it is used in growing tents or in small open rooms. To operate the ballast just plug it into the main supply 240V power grid, and use 240V HM /HPS or 400V HPS bulbs.
An important feature is the Soft Start system, which controls the lamps ignition. This software gradually increases the power as the lamp warms up, in order to maximize bulb life and prevent an initial voltage surge. In just 3 minutes the lamp is working at maximum power while extending its useful life.
400V or 240V: intelligent and versatile ballast
The ballast software will turn it off automatically in case of overloads, short circuits, voltage surges. The lighting equipment is well protected against unforeseen events.
In addition, if connected to a Lumatec Digital Panel (not included) via the TR Link port, it is possible to have full control over the equipment, monitoring parameters such as ambient temperature, lighting time, dimming, start-up or when turning the equipment On/Off, as well as other safety ballast parameters.
Lumatek Ultimate Pro 600w is a lightweight lamp at less than 3kg. It emits little heat thanks to its energy efficiency which facilitates its assembly and handling once inside or outside the growing tent.
To begin using Ultimate Pro ballast simply replace the old one and substitute the 240v bulb for the 400v one. You will get the best results with all the the advantages of 400v.
