Alchimia is delighted to present Mauritius x Ethiopian Standard, a regular cannabis strain in limited edition by Ace Seeds Bank, a group of cannabis breeders and lovers committed to the preservation and study of this wonderful plant. Here we feature a 100% Sativa F1, a cross between a rare and exotic Mauritius strain very similar to the Reunion Island sativas (Zamal), crossed with a second-generation Ethiopian plant.
Mauricio x Ethiopian Standard, tropical Sativa of great vigor, with huge trichomes
This is a hybrid with a highly Sativa character with a very wild and untamed tropical profile. The plants are tall and slender with a languid appearance and very flexible thin stems. It has spectacular vigour and ramification power.
Normally when the plants grow in open ground, they display an extreme ramification very typical of the Indian Ocean islands genetics. Mauritius x Ethiopian Standard has a slow flowering onset, soon showing its tropical Sativa genes and enormously long and thin stigmas.
Its calyxes are medium-small in size and covered with large resin glands. Indoors, it is recommended a photoperiod of 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness in order to accelerate flowering, preventing reflowering and high stretching at the beginning of the flowering period. It is also advisable to moderate nutrition, especially nitrogen during cultivation and phosphorous and potassium amounts during flowering.
Mauritius x Ethiopian Standard, large long flower colas with fluffy texture and spike shape
This F1 hybrid can be cultivated indoors with high light intensity and enough room to provide a proper development. It is recommended for small indoor gardens to pass to the flowering stage after 15 days from seed, or after 7 days after rooting from cuttings. It works very well in SOG cultivation due to its production in the main colas. In addition, cultivated in SCROG it provides great results due to its excellent vigour in the secondary branches and its good response to pruning techniques.
When provided with adequate light intensity and temperature, this plant shows reflorescence and produces large and long flower colas with a spongy, spike-like texture and a good calyx-to-leaf ratio. These tropical Sativa characteristics prevent botrytis problems even in rainy climates or high humidity, so it is very unlikely to suffer from fungal infections.
It is highly recommended for outdoor cultivation in tropical or subtropical climates, although it can be grown in warm coastal climates with mild autumn similar to the Mediterranean area up to latitudes close to 43º.
Mauritius x Ethiopian Standard, euphoric cerebral effects with no limits, very sparkling and trippy with classic African Sativa flavours
It is a cannabis variety intended for pure tropical Sativa lovers, with euphoric cerebral effects with no limits, very sparkling and trippy, physically very energetic and with a moderate duration and a very clean comedown.
Its flavours and aromas are classic African Sativa, with floral, earthy, woody, hoppy and spicy undertones, accompanied with citric and lemony notes. Some phenotypes produce lavender terpenes.
