Alchimia Grow Shop presents the PF TEK container + 450ml substrate, fully sterilised and ready to start your edible or magic mushrooms cultivation.
The substrate is made of vermiculite mixed with brown rice flour and water. This mixture formulation that optimises texture, nutrients and moisture retention.

The rice flour is obtained from first quality basmati rice in husk, so the flour naturally maintains all the nutrients and vitamins it contains.
The product quality ensures a complete and rich substrate for our mushrooms cultivation that will nourish them in a fast and wholesome way.
The substrate is placed in a glass container which is then sterilised. The substrate is ready to be inoculated with a syringe through the 4 ports on the top.

The spores syringe and the work area should be disinfected before inoculating the substrate, in addition to wearing gloves and a mask. With this we reduce to a minimum the risk of contamination ensuring an optimal colonization and fructification process.
We should use between 1ml and 4ml of liquid with spores, placing the needle close to the container wall, then withdraw the liquid from the spore syringe distributing it equally through the 4 holes in order to homogenise the mycelium production.
The holes should be left uncovered removing the protective tape, so there is enough air exchange.
PF TEK Container + 450ml Substrate, clean, simple and effective
Once the inoculation is completed we keep the container in a dark place with a temperature of about 30ºC for 2-3 weeks, until mycelium emerges all over the substrate from the inoculated mushroom spores.
To initiate the mycelium fructification, we open the container and remove the vermiculite upper layer, mycelium-free, with a sterilised fork.
Then we pour the contents into a culture container with ventilation. It must be of greater diameter and we take care not to touch the content with our hands. Finally we place the container inside the mini-greenhouse or the bag that we use to perform out mushrooms garden.
