Alchimia presents Thai Chi Cannabis Strain by Ace Seeds, a feminised variety with Asian character.
It is a cross between a Landrace cannabis strain from Chiang Mai province in Thailand, and Kali China by Ace Seeds, a hybrid with 75% China Yunnan and 25% Kali Mist genetics.
The result is a variety with 70/30 Sativa Indica genetics that perfectly combines both characteristics.
Thai Chi marijuana cultivation
Thai Chi strain is a plant with a fairly compact structure and large leaves. It has an Indica tendency appearance during the vegetative stage, stretching and acquiring a Sativa appearance during the flowering period.
It develops a dominant main bud that is ideal for One Bud method, especially in indoor cultivation using medium sized pots. In outdoor cultivation by providing a good soil volume and a proper growing period it produces large and strong bushes.
Thai Chi variety adapts well to apical pruning, developing strong secondary branches. This way it can adapt perfectly to SCROG and supercropping cultivation techniques.
It has a flowering period of about 10-11 weeks in indoor cannabis cultivation, offering an abundant harvest outdoors in late October.
Thai Chi Cannabis harvest
It offers a complex aroma dominated by sour grapes and bitter lemon on a spicy background, incorporating garlic and onion, wood, incense, chocolate, green tea, mint and lime notes. A combination that provides a flavour similar to blackcurrant in the mouth. We find phenotypes with more Thai genetic influence producing a more spicy and woody flavour and aroma, and phenotypes with more Kali China inheritance are more sweet and fruity.
Thai Chi terpenes profile is dominated by beta-myrcene and terpinolene, accompanied by small amounts of alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, limonene and trans-socimene, beta-caryophyllene and alpha-humelene.
The cannabinoid profile has a THC level of 16%, and a CBD concentration of less than 0.1%, and a CBG level of 0.7%.
It produces a clear, brain-active, sociable and cheerful effect without promoting anxiety or stress, typical of good Sativa strains.
