Alchimia presents Garden Sunflover by Les Rafardes, a beautiful decorative plant, perfect for the garden or balcony. It produces several large, showy violet flowers. The seeds can also be used for consumption as sprouts.

Garden Sunflower, decorative plant with large violet flowers

Sunflower is one of the best known and most beautiful flowers because of its remarkably intense yellow colour and large size. Les Refardes offers here the organic Garden Sunflover.

Garden Sunflover is an ideal plant for decoration. It grows perfectly in a pot, forming several flowers per plant of an incredible violet shade.

It is advisable to sow the seeds directly in the ground in spring. It can also be sown in a seedbed, preferably with alveoli. If grown in the garden or vegetable patch, it requires about 40 cm between plants to ensure its correct development.

Grden Sunflower can be consumed as germinated sprouts

Garden Sunflover seeds can be germinated and consumed as sprouts. They contain vitamin D and unsaturated fats, as well as a high protein content and minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium and magnesium that help to keep bones and teeth healthy and strong.

Garden Sunflover seeds have been produced in Puig de la Bauma, Mura (Bages).
