Purple Paro Valley is one of the new feminized strains of marijuana from Mandala Seeds, with native genetics from the valley of Purple Paro, west of Bhutan, in the Himalayas.
In the wild, where it has been since just two generations back, it develops at an altitude of 2500m, and it has adapted to the hard climate of the area, bearing drought, monsoon rains and cold winters. All this makes the Purple Paro Valley be a real option for areas where excessive cold and moisture can make it impossible to grow marijuana, plus reliable and very interesting.
It stands out for having two phenotypes, one purple (75%) and other green (25%), with different traits and flowering times (the green one ends the flowering shortly before), which will facilitate us the differentiation and it will provide us variability. The first one has a typical structure of sativa strains, with long internodes and small leaves that reach considerable heights even potted and it can reach 2m planted in June. The green phenotype will be more compact and reduced, and it can mesure up to 1.50m in large pot of similar structure.
Its branches are flexible and long, and it can seem that they don't bear the weight of the flowers properly, but actually this design allows it to bear heavy gusts of wind and rains.
All these factors make it very resistant to mold, and coupled with the fact that manage well the nutrients, not being very "glutton", will make it a good candidate for guerilla growing or for beginners. The best way to optimize the performance of this plant is using the apical pruning to get good satellite branches or bend the plant horizontally and molde it in order to optimize the maximum the production.
As for the aroma of this strain, it will be also interesting to separate them by phenotypes, as each brings their particular nuances on a spicy and lime green background. The purple phenotype can adquire a black tea flavor with menthol touches, while the green one will have touches of lavender, because it have much of aromatic terpene linalool, which tends to induce sleep, giving a more relaxed point to the final grass.
Its effect is introspective and relaxing, ideal for relaxing on the couch. Perfect to get away at the end of the day, as conciliator of sleep, and it is great for hyperactivity and nervousness.
