Super Malawi Haze: Nevil's Haze x Malawi Killer
It is a cross between a Neville's Haze selection from the late 80’s ({(Haze x Haze) x NL #5} x {Haze x Haze}) and a Malawi Landrace clone, bringing together the best Sativa properties and forging a spectacular plant.
This variety has a 90/10 Sativa Indica genetics. It is a very vigorous plant that grows to good height, branchy and fill up quite a bit of space provided it has sufficient substrate. It presents a strong stretching during the flowering, doubling or tripling its size easily.
Its structure makes it ideal for SCROG cultivation filling the net quickly. Its huge central cola also makes it optimal for SOG in just 15 days of vegetative growth, as well as it adapts perfectly to other pruning and moulding techniques.
Super Malawi Haze, strong and long lasting psychedelic effect
Ace Seeds recommends in indoor cultivation a photoperiod of 11h light and 13h darkness to accelerate maturation and avoid re-flowerings, as well as to prevent uncontrolled stretching in order to restrain its wild Sativa marijuana spirit.
It is a variety that appreciates high levels of nutrients throughout its development, benefiting from a warm tropical or subtropical climate as well as the Mediterranean climate. It is quite tolerant to pests, with a great resistance to botrytis.
Super Malawi Haze, psychedelic, potent and cerebral
Three different phenotypes can be observed:
The first phenotype is markedly Nevil's Haze, a super vigorous growth and large size very much in the Haze style but hyper-vitamined. It produces large and dense flower colas with an excellent calyx/leaf ratio. The flowers are loaded with orange/red pistils emanating sweet, floral and incense terpenes. The harvest is ready after about 85-90 days.
The second is inherited from the Malawi marijuana, recognisable by its "golden/silver" appearance at the stage of bud maturity. It is a plant that also develops vigorously, offering an exuberant yield with resinous, oily and woody aromas. It is ready for harvest in about 85 days.
The third phenotype is the least frequent (<10%), resulting in an almost pure wild Haze with a tall and languid development. It offers a lower bud and resin yield. It is ready for harvest in about 90-120 days. It is a very interesting phenotype for breeders looking to rescue Old School characteristics for their crosses.
All of them offer a very cerebral and creative psychedelic effect of enormous power, thanks to its THC level of 23-28%. It's an ideal variety for going out to party or walking in the mountains, as well as for letting yourself be carried away by introspection.
