Mentha spicata
Menta Spicata aka Spearmint is an aromatic plant well known for its fresh and intense aroma. It is used in cooking to add aroma and flavour to food dishes, and is often used in the preparation of desserts. In infusions, it combines well with teas and other herbs.
It is a very easy to grow plant offering high yields, up to 3 harvests per year. As it is a highly invasive species, it is advisable to cultivate it in a pot. It will develop quickly and vigorously with a fertilised, moist and well-drained substrate.

- Sowing in seedbed from February to June
- Transplant when the plant is about 10 cm long
- Cultivation frame of 25×15cm
- Very invasive species, it is advisable to grow it in pots
- High yielding variety
