Justin bradley 05-10-2019 I have a question about disease resistant seeds I need a seed or strain there is resistant to septaria league spot and blight I'm living in michigan and septoria leaf spot is o. Everything around me ... I've had a few strains this yr not get it at all and then some get it more then others idk ... just hoping you guys could help me out with strains resistant to these. Alchimia Grow Shop 07-10-2019 Hi Justin, thanks for your question. I've had the same issue outdoors over the last few years and noticed the same thing. Some plants are completely unaffected while others suffer badly. It's hard to say which plants will be resistant and unlike powdery mildew or botrytis, septoria is not really a widespread cannabis disease, so seed banks don't tend to publish information on how plants stand up to it. Two of my plants were badly affected, a Diesel and a Malawi x PCK hybrid. However, another Malawi x PCK hybrid was completely unaffected. I did notice, however, that none of the varieties with OG Kush or Cookies genetics in them were affected, so that's an avenue you may wish to explore. Al the best and happy growing.
