bj 06-02-2017 i have seen you Youtube-Video about the Aptus Regulator.......... maybe you can help me ? (: becouse Aptus dosent answer to my Questions ): i use cuttings(7-10cm) and i give the 12/12h Light/Darkness, direcly after they have Roots..... without Aptus Regulator it works good ! i have usw Regulator in the past, for a while and than i have try it without........ the last Grow i have usw the Regulator again..... and i have the same Problem, like in the past. they are some plants, that stay very small and dont grow up..... other plants grow very compact and so on, but with strong stems and much of buds (; i only have usw 0,5ml/10l of Regulator in the first week !!!!! do you think the next time, i should make the first week, without Regulator, to give the Plants a chance to grow a little bit up and recover from repot and so on ? and start on the second blooming week with the Regulator ? the funny thing is, on the third blooming week it look like, that 0,5ml/10l of Regulator is not enough, becouse the sideshoots(internodes) have a little bit to big distance. i grow much different strains and i have see, that every strain reacts a little bit different to the Regulator...... much streching sativas can handle more Regulator (; do you know something about the interaction between the Regulator and B52 (Kelpak) ? do you know, if it possible to use the Regulator and spray Mineral Magic and horsetail-extrakt (becouse of silicate and so on ?) thank you very much ! i hope you can tell me something, to learn (;

Hi bj,
Aptus Regulator is formulated to be used throughout the entire cycle. Still, and as you say, each plant reacts different to nutritional and environmental conditions. My first advice would be to transplant the recently rooted clones and leave them growing for a week. In this way you make sure that they'll have a nice root system when you switch to bloom, so they'll stretch and bloom properly. If you find that the more compact plants are not growing big enough, then just start using Regulator a few days later - during the stretch period - when plants tend to elongate their stems.
I've never heard of spraying Mineral Magic, the manufacturer only mentions using it in the irrigation water. Other sources of silicates are Botanicare's Silica Blast, Grotek's Pro-Silicate and Diatomaceous Earth.
There's no problem on spraying horsetail extract while using Regulator or other nutrients, it is frequently used as preventive for pests, especially as a natural fungicide.
I don't think you'll have any problem by combining Regulator and B52, you can use half the dose of B52 and if you don't see anything wrong in the next days then go for the full dose. Other sources of Ascophyllum Nodosum are Botanicare's Seaplex, Terralba's Kelp or Evoponic's Water Saver.
Hope it helped!
