Today we welcome you to a new edition (and there are already 20!!) of the fair that manages to convert Cornellá and Barcelona as the world epicenter of cannabis culture: Spannabis. This fair, which has earned the title of the largest and most influential on the planet in the field of marijuana, becomes a huge showcase where innovation, community, and the exploration of the latest trends in this fascinating world converge.

In this article, we are going to explain everything you can expect from the next edition of Spannabis, which will take place on March 15, 16, and 17, as always, at the Fira de Cornellà venue, in Barcelona. Spannabis 2024, the 20th edition of a cannabis classic

Without a doubt, and edition after edition, Spannabis has established itself as the largest cannabis event in Europe, if not the entire world. It is no longer just the hundreds of exhibitors you can meet, from seed banks and breeders to manufacturers of all types of growing material or paraphernalia, but the incredible atmosphere experienced during these 3 days in the company of thousands of plant enthusiasts.

For the 2024 edition, there is a forecast of more than 280 international exhibitors, comprising all types of companies and brands, from fertilizer manufacturers to advisors, hemp-related companies, or resin extraction specialists. Whatever you are looking for, you will find it at Spannabis during those days! The fair will also have the presence of 3,900 accredited professionals from all corners of the planet, and an area of more than 17,000m2 with all kinds of activities parallel to the exhibition itself. Quite a spectacle so that you don't stop for a moment!

International Cannabis Business Conference - ICBC (March 14)

The International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC – International Cannabis Business Conference) will have Spannabis as a collaborator for yet another year, in what will now be the fourth edition of this business meeting, undoubtedly the most prestigious of those held in Spain.

The event, which has seen its popularity grow enormously since the first edition and has become one of the most important B2B ( business to business ) events in the cannabis industry worldwide, will take place at the Cornellà Auditorium on Thursday, March 14, 2024, and will bring together sector professionals from more than 50 countries.

You can consult all the information on their website, but keep in mind that all Spannabis exhibitors enjoy a discount on admission, and a VIP event will also be held at the Edition Hotel during the night to close a day that is as intense as it is productive, with DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill, Soul Assassins) livening up the evening. World Cannabis Conference - WCC (March 15 and 16)

The World Cannabis Conference or WCC reaches its 10th edition again, held at the Cornellà Auditorium on March 15 and 16. Once again you will have the opportunity to attend debates, forums, and conferences on the latest advances related to the world of cannabis in very diverse fields, from cultivation or science to medicine or politics.

Spannabis Champions Cup (March 15)

Yeeeeeeeah, one of the most anticipated events by the Spannabis public year after year is its famous cannabis cup, which brings together many of the best breeders, growers, and producers of resin extractions in the world to compete for the coveted awards of this important event. ...everyone wants to win a cup at Spannabis!

As in every edition, and this will be the 18th, the best seed banks, grow shops, and clubs will compete and present their best flowers and resins to become champions in one of the many categories of the event. Like last year, and repeating a formula that seemed to work very well, the possibility is opened to the public to participate in the cup as a jury, once again having a Popular Jury apart from the now classic VIP Jury.

The presentation of the long-awaited and well-deserved awards will take place on Friday, March 15, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Spannabis Auditorium. And hurry up if you want to participate in the cup, the submission of samples for the competition closes on February 8. Good luck to all participants!

Have you thought that all these activities would not be accompanied by partying and the best music? Well, you were wrong! Like every year, the lineup that Spannabis presents to us for this edition is worthy of the best music festivals, with first-class artists who will fill every corner of the fair with sound and good vibes. Get ready for unforgettable sessions of reggae, dub, dancehall, hip hop, soul, jazz, funk, afro beats, drum&bass, dubwise, Neurofunk, electronic music, tropical rhythms, black music... a whole melting pot of rhythms to vibrate with! high!

Information of interest about Spannabis 2024

As always, and to maximize coexistence, remember that you will not be able to enter the fairgrounds with animals, and you will not be able to smoke inside the pavilions either. Also, remember that this is an event for adults, so you will not be able to enter if you are under 18 years old. Finally, keep in mind that if you buy your ticket in advance you can present it from your mobile phone when you enter, you do not need to print it.

CannabisHub CDays 2024 (March 13)

Another cannabis-related event that will take place during these days will be the third edition of the CannabisHub CDays, a unique opportunity to network, learn, and create contacts with experts and leaders in the sector in the same place as last year, the Edifici Vèrtex CPU. In this new installment, you will be able to enjoy 16 "Cannabis Talks" by top-class speakers such as Oscar Parés from ICEERS, Viola Brugnatelli (Cannabiscienza SA), Steve De Angelo from Harborside Inc., Jorge Cervantes, Núria Calzada (Kykeon Analytics ) or Heidi Whitman of KannaSwiss.

In addition, personalities from the world of politics and medicine will also be present, such as Congressman Ocampo, from the Republic of Colombia, or D. Araceli Manjón-Cabeza Olmeda, Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. In a few weeks, we will know the complete list of speakers, which we will update as soon as we have the information.
