2016 Spannabis, the cannabis fair

The 2016 edition of Spannabis is over, another celebration of the cannabis sector in which we could enjoy all the new products and strains for the new season. We could also attend the speeches held at the World Cannabis Conferences and, of course, know the champions of the 11th Cannabis Champions Cup.

We are very pleased, since this year - and once again - the good vibes were found all around the place, we could know new and interesting products and we could verify that the quality of the samples entered is gradually increasing in each edition.

As happened the last year, the awards of the Cannabis Champions Cup were one of the most interesting moments of the weekend. It is always a pleasure to see how someone's work is fairly rewarded.

2016 Spannabis News

Regarding the new strains for the 2016 season, we had the chance to try the new genetics from Ripper Seeds: Badazz (Feminized and Regular), Fuel OG and Acid Dough, very resinous varieties developed from top quality OG Kush genetics.

Dinafem Seeds also presented their CBD-rich Auto strains, like Industrial Plant Auto CBD (1:2.25 THC:CBD ratio, 5.89% THC and 13.28% CBD) and Haze Auto CBD (1:1.3 THC:CBD ratio, 5.5% THC and 7% CBD).

CBD Crew also expand their catalogue of feminized CBD-rich varieties. During this show they presented their latest genetics, CBD OG Kush (1:2/1:5 THC:CBD ratio, with up to 10% CBD) and CBD Girl Scout Cookies (8-12% THC and 6-12% CBD).

Delicious Seeds also presented their Jägg Kush, a very easy to grow and highly psychoactive genetics developed from Warlock, Skunk and Haze. We also found the Deep Mandarin marijuana, which subtly blends fresh mandarin flavour and high amounts of CBD (1:1/1:3 THC:CBD ratio, up to 15% CBD). They also presented the CBD JAM, a Marmalate genetics hybrid with intense and medicinal effect.

We could try the Original Juan Herer, a cross between OG Kush and Jack Herer, with strong spicy and incensed taste and tremendous psychoactive effect. Finally, the regular versions of Marmalate and Delicious Candy were also presented to the public.

For our part, we could present new products of the Alchimia brand - which are already available in our shop - something that makes us very happy.

With regard to the World Cannabis Conferences, being able to attend the speeches of specialists with different points of view has been a true pleasure. We thank all the speakers for their task and also for sharing some minutes with us so we could learn more.
