Information on Boujee B!tch

Boujee B!tch is a feminized and photoperiodic strain from Relentless Genetics, the Colorado-based breeder behind Trop Cherry. Born from a cross between Wedding Cake and a reversed Trop Cherry, it produces an indica-leaning hybrid with vigorous, colorful, and productive plants.

Its aroma resembles a vanilla cake dusted with ground pepper, with hints of cherry and tropical fruit in some phenotypes. THC levels are very high, above 20%, and the effect is hybrid: it starts with an uplifting cerebral rush and transitions into a physical relaxation that still allows you to function.

History of Boujee B!tch

Relentless Genetics has made a name for itself thanks to its Cherry Cookies line, with Trop Cherry being its best-known work. With Boujee B!tch, the breeder combined that tropical cherry with the sweetness and resin of Wedding Cake, and he himself highlights that his best specimens grow faster, with better node spacing and more production than Trop Cherry.

The name plays with the term boujee, which in American slang describes something sophisticated with a touch of showiness. It fits a plant that catches the eye both for its pink and purple colors and the layer of resin covering its flowers.

Relentless went so far as to claim that the best specimens of Boujee B!tch clearly surpass Trop Cherry, his flagship strain. The selected cut came from a hunt through 100 seeds and, after comparing it over more than a dozen grows, the breeder discarded several of his cuts, Trop Cherry included, because this one outperformed them in every aspect.

The strain already has offspring of its own. In October 2026, Relentless introduced Sith Empress, a cross of G3PO with a reversed Boujee B!tch, which shows the weight it has gained within his catalog.

Genetics of Boujee B!tch: Wedding Cake x Trop Cherry (R)

Boujee B!tch combines a Wedding Cake with a reversed Trop Cherry that acts as the pollen donor. Reversing a female plant to produce pollen is what allows feminized seeds to be obtained while preserving the genetics of a selected cut.

Most classifications place it as an indica-dominant hybrid, though some consider it more balanced. In practice it shows a Cake-type structure: short internodes, a strong main cola, and buds that stack from the first weeks of flowering.

Being from seed, some variation between plants should be expected, something the breeder himself presents as an advantage. There are different aromatic profiles to choose from, making it a good candidate for a phenotype hunt.

Wedding Cake

Wedding Cake is a creation by Seed Junky Genetics that comes from crossing Triangle Kush with Animal Mints. The phenotype that became popular is Triangle Mints #23, highly valued for its resin load and vanilla sweetness.

The name it's known by today is not the original. It was the Jungle Boys who started calling it Wedding Cake because of its unmistakable vanilla cake smell, and the nickname stuck.

Trop Cherry

Trop Cherry, also known as Tropicana Cherry, is one of the reference strains from Relentless Genetics. It's born from crossing Tropicana Cookies by Bloom Seed Co with a Cherry Cookies F3 male, a line the breeder himself worked for three generations to give it stability.

It's known for its electric purple appearance in cultivation, its aroma of mandarin and cherry, and a daytime, functional effect. Part of that color and fruity character can be felt in Boujee B!tch.

Trop Cherry didn't take long to stand out in competition. It placed second in the hybrid category at the 2020 Rooster Magazine THC Classic, and in 2022 a Trop Cherry took first place at a Michigan Cannabis Cup.

Growing Boujee B!tch

Boujee B!tch adapts to both indoor and outdoor cultivation and develops a medium height. It grows with Wedding Cake's pattern but faster, and stretches a bit more than Trop Cherry when switching to flowering, so it's advisable to leave vertical space in the grow area.

Indoors it completes flowering in 8 to 9 weeks, though some specimens can extend to the tenth. Indicative figures mention up to 700 g/m² under optimized conditions, in line with a plant that appreciates plenty of light and responds with weight and density.

To get the most out of it, the usual approach is to top early during vegetative growth to encourage lateral branches and form a uniform canopy before switching the photoperiod. It enters flowering decisively, starts stacking flowers very early, and finishes with compact, heavy buds.

Outdoors it's harvested between late September and early October, and in well-developed plants it can reach around 1250 g per plant. Given the density of its flowers, ambient humidity should be monitored in the final stretch of the cycle.

Flavor and Effect of Boujee B!tch

The aromatic profile revolves around pastry: vanilla cake, creamy dough, and frosting, cut through with a touch of freshly ground pepper. Depending on the phenotype, notes of sweet cherry, citrus, and tropical fruit appear, or a more gassy and spicy background where the fruit takes a back seat.

On the palate it repeats that interplay between sweet and spicy, with a smooth, slightly earthy finish. The flowers, with shades ranging from pink to almost black purple, are covered by a layer of trichomes that makes them very interesting for extractions.

The effect starts with a euphoric cerebral rush that improves mood and awakens creativity. It gradually gives way to a physical relaxation that doesn't eliminate mental clarity, so it fits both social moments and quiet times. Its potency is high and should be taken into account when dosing.
