Genetics and origin of Cat Piss Canyon

This variety is born from the cross between Cat Piss, a legendary sativa known for its extreme aromatic profile and its sparkling mental effect, and Grape Mountain, a creation of Bloom Seed Co. that comes from MTN Trop × (Grape Pie × Wedding Crasher). From Cat Piss it inherits the pungent profile and a fast, happy high; from Grape Mountain it gets the creaminess, fruity base and more controlled flowering. The result is a modern hybrid with an old school soul: attractive production, memorable taste and a striking visual presence with dense, resinous and often purple coloured buds.

Growing: Sativa vigour with control and solid production

Cat Piss Canyon shows a medium stretchy growth once flowering is underway, making it easy to manage indoors. Its structure is branched but not uncontrolled, ideal for techniques such as LST, SCROG or even SOG if given a short vegetative phase. In flowering, it responds with large buds, very resinous and with an excellent density for a sativa.

Its flowering in indoor cultivation is completed between 8 and 9 weeks, a competitive time given its genetics. Outdoors, it can reach significant heights (over 2.5 m), so it is recommended for sunny climates with good ventilation and enough space. It is a grateful plant and without complications during cultivation if humidity is controlled during flowering. Yields of over 500 g/m² can be expected indoors and slightly more per plant outdoors.
