Euphoria in its Regular (non-feminized) version is one of the great classics from Dutch Passion: a sativa-dominant Skunk that combines high potency with generous yields. Award-winning at competitions such as the HighLife Cup and the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, it remains a reference for its genetic stability and unmistakable character. It's also available in feminized and autoflowering versions.

A Skunk selection with its own history

Euphoria was born in 1996 as a Skunk selection within Dutch Passion's breeding program, the same one that produced varieties like Skunk #1, Orange Bud, and Skunk #11. The breeder defines it as a sativa-dominant Skunk selection rather than a cross of specific parents, so its explicit lineage isn't specified. The result is a very stable and vigorous genetic, so reliable that numerous seed banks have used it as the basis for their own hybrids. Its ease of cloning also makes it an excellent mother plant.

Indoor and outdoor cultivation

Indoors, Euphoria is an easy variety suitable for beginners. Its flowering is quick, approximately 7 to 9 weeks depending on the source, with yields close to 400–600 g/m² and a height of 1 to 1.5 m. Being a sativa structure that stretches during flowering, it responds very well to techniques such as SOG, SCROG, topping or FIM, bending, and supercropping; it's advisable to provide support for the buds at the end of the cycle.

Outdoors, it prefers warm, dry climates like southern France, Spain, southern Italy, or Greece, and develops very well in greenhouses. It's a large plant, averaging 2 to 3 meters, capable of exceeding 3.5 m, with very high yields. Harvest arrives in early to mid-October in Mediterranean climates, and somewhat later, towards late October or early November, in Dutch latitudes.

Aromas, flavors, and effects

Euphoria's aromatic profile is pure Skunk: very intense and penetrating, with earthy, spicy, citrus, and pine notes, plus woody nuances that in some phenotypes recall cinnamon, vanilla, or caramel. This should be kept in mind during cultivation, as it releases an extremely strong aroma. On the palate, it's a fresh and pungent Skunk, less sweet than others from the breeder, accompanied by citrus, herbs, earth, pine, and touches of cedar and wood, with some fruity hints.

Its effects are euphoric, energetic, and cerebral, of the up-high type. With a high THC (approximately 18–20%) and low CBD, it offers a stimulating, clear, and joyful experience that promotes creativity and sociability, notable for its long duration. It's a more mental than physical effect, nothing "couch-lock," ideal for daytime or morning consumption, for social and creative moments, or for mentally disconnecting after a stressful period.
