TrimPro's Jack Puck press, with its 2 tons of pressure, is the perfect accessory for pressing and compacting our cannabis resin extraction powder into convenient blocks.
The Jack Puck press consists of a 11.4 x 11.4 x 29.2cm body to be placed on a stable, flat surface for optimal operation. This hydraulic press is easy to use. It has a removable mould that can be heated in the oven to facilitate the pressing of our raw material.
How to use the 2 Ton Jack Puck press
To use it simply unscrew the upper part to access the two-part mould, which we can place in the oven to heat up to a maximum of 100ºC.
Once heated, we first place the lower part of the mould into the base of the press, after having covered it with anti-adhesive paper, which we recommend to prevent resin sticking to the metal with the effect of heat and pressure.
Next, we will pour in the contents to press and cover with paper before replacing the flat, upper part of the mould. Then replace the screws of the upper part of the press and it's ready to start pressing.
To activate the press, the release valve, which is located on the lower part of the press, must be closed by turning it fully clockwise. Then we will move the bar up and down until we reach maximum pressure.
To recover our resin simply open the release valve by turning it anti-clockwise. Then remove the screws to access the mould. We can use the hydraulic piston to remove the pressed resin puck, by closing the valve again and giving a few pumps to lift it a few millimetres clear.

It sounds like it's got stuck, I would try giving it a bit of a knock with a solid piece of wood or even a hammer - not so hard as to damage anything but enough to dislodge the piece that's jammed/stuck. There's a certain amount of play/movement on these presses which means that they can get stuck if everything isn't aligned perfectly. If that doesn't work, let us know, please.I hope that helps.

Hi JC, thanks for your question. To be honest, there's no such thing as an average sized puck. It really depends on how much hash you want to press at one time. According to the manufacturer it's designed to make 100g pucks, but you could definitely press smaller quantities in there, no problem at all. I hope that helps. Best wishes and happy hashing!

Without the valve you won't be able to apply/release pressure. I'm sorry, but we don't have spare parts. I'd try at some hardware store, I don't think it'll be difficult to find!
