Information on Banana Guava Auto
Banana Guava Auto is an autoflowering strain from Fast Buds belonging to their Champions Line, with indica dominance and an aromatic profile that combines ripe guava with a creamy banana background. It reaches up to 28% THC and offers a hybrid effect that combines good mood and relaxation. It's ideal for growers looking for a modern, productive and simple auto, with intense tropical terpenes and genetics with history behind it.
Genetics: two champions from the Autoflower World Cup
This variety is an F1 hybrid that crosses Guava Auto RF3 with Banana Jealousy Auto RF3. Both parents won in the same edition of the Autoflower World Cup: Guava Auto RF3 took first place in the best sativa category, while Banana Jealousy Auto, developed by Ethos Genetics from Banana Jealousy and Banana Daddy Auto, was the best indica.
The result is a plant with an approximate distribution of 65% indica and 35% sativa. Guava Auto RF3, a refined version over several generations to gain stability, more pronounced terpenes and more resin, contributes the tropical character, energy and notable resistance to pests and stress. Banana Jealousy provides the creamy depth, a more solid structure and abundant resin production.
In terms of morphology, it develops a medium to large size structure with firm lateral branches and dense buds heavily covered in trichomes. It's a combination designed so that each parent complements the other: the vitality of guava and the body of the banana line.
In cultivation: vigorous, simple and with good production
Banana Guava Auto completes its cycle in 9-10 weeks from germination, without needing to change the photoperiod. It adapts to indoor, outdoor, greenhouse and mixed systems, and its range of recommended climates goes from very hot areas to cold zones, making it versatile in much of Europe.
It's an XL-sized auto, with a height of 80 to 120 cm, manageable in most grow tents and on terraces or gardens. Indoors, production is between 450 and 600 g/m², a high figure for an autoflowering strain. Outdoors each plant yields approximately 50-200 grams, depending on the season, pot size and location.
Its growth is vigorous and forgiving, and requires little care to give consistent results, making it an option suitable for beginner growers. At the same time, the density of its flowers and high resin production mean that more experienced growers can also get the most out of it.
Flavor and effect: guava, banana and cream
The aromatic profile is clearly tropical. Juicy guava dominates, accompanied by notes of ripe banana with a hint of caramel and a creamy, slightly cookie-like background. The smell is intense both on the plant and in the jar, with a soft sweetness reminiscent of a fruit smoothie.
The smoke is smooth and sweet, with tropical fruit in the foreground and the creamy banana finish lingering on the palate. It's a rounder and sweeter profile than acidic, away from the more pungent citrus terpenes.
The effect is described as a balanced hybrid: it starts with a sensation of good mood and elevated spirits, with a creative and giggly edge, and evolves into a gentle body relaxation. It also tends to stimulate appetite. With up to 28% THC, it's a potent variety that should be dosed carefully.
