Exotic Genetix seedbank history began in a small hydroponics store in Tacoma, Washington.
At that time, it was common to grow from clone plants. These often-carried bugs and diseases that could hinder growers who wanted to grow their own medicinal weed. That's how Mike Exotic came up with the idea of producing seeds. This way growers would start the cultivation from seeds instead of using affected clones.
Out of this the first 3 strains developed by Exotic Mike were born, Supernatural, Essence and Flurple. These varieties were offered to customers when they had problems in their cultivation with infected cuttings. Shortly after a year, Mike realized that the project was expanding so he decided to create Exotic Seeds and set up the necessary infrastructure to produce more seeds and develop new projects.
Always looking to work with the best genetic material possible, Exotic Mike managed to obtain some Starfighter seeds, a very rare lineage famous for the incredible amount of resin it produces. In 2013, he crossed Starfighter with Girl Scout Cookies to create Cookies And Cream, a must-have strain by Exotic Genetix.
Exotic Genetix continued its work developing plants that produced increasingly larger, more resinous, more potent, and fragrant flowers, obtaining a great success in the cannabis community thanks to the quality of its genetics. Certainly, strains that have been awarded numerous Cannabis Cup prizes worldwide.
