Transcription of video tutorial for Flowermate Hybrid X vaporizer :
Today we’re going to look at the Flowermate Hybrid X vaporiser. A hybrid vaporiser suitable to vaporise herbs, resins, essences and also e-cigarette liquids.
We open the box and the first thing we see is the body of the vaporiser and just underneath we find the instructions in several languages, the warranty card and the certificate of authenticity. What else? There’s an atomiser to be able to vaporise electronic cigarette type liquids. We also have a Mini USB charger cable, a couple of tools, in this case you will get a cleaning brush and a Dabber type tool to work the resins and also help with the cleaning.
What’s next? A couple of capsules, now I'll tell you what these capsules are for. One is to vaporise essences or oils and also serves to vaporise any type of resins. And then there’s this capsule, which is very practical, and is for ground up weed, this way you can put your herb inside the capsule, and you can have 2 or 3 have several loads ready at once, which is very convenient not to have to be loading and unloading, removing, or cleaning the vaporiser in the middle of the street.
What else? It has a spare atomiser resistance and spare screens… wow! And also another little surprise, a practical and attractive cover for the vaporiser. That’s everything.
Let's see how this vaporiser is used for all these types of material, from dry flowers, to oil, tincture or any type of resin. We have a bit of BHO or if you prefer Rosin Hash, or CBD crystals like the ones we have in our store, we can also use the atomiser to vaporise any type of electronic cigarette liquid.
We're going to see how the vaporiser is set up, on the upper part there is a button, we press it and a compartment opens, inside we will see on one side we have the mouthpiece, which we remove, and on the other side is the bowl where we will put either the capsules or the weed. In this area here, the screen that can be removed and changed, and if we close and remove the cap we can see the thread for the mouthpiece, which is what we are going to do now.
We will start by seeing how essential oils are vaporised, for example, this one. We take one of the 2 capsules, the one that has the big hole in the center and with the dropper for the oil, we simply put two or three of drops inside the capsule to impregnate the organic cotton. Then we just open the vaporiser here and place the capsule inside the bowl, this way up, like this. We close it and it’s ready to vaporise.
To vaporise resins we’ll use the same capsule, but in a different way. Obviously, if we have used it for essential oils we’d open it, remove the cotton and put a new one in, ok? Well, for the resins we are going to use the bottom part of this capsule, here in this ring, with the hole in the middle, is where we’ll fill it with the kind of resin we’d like. We take a dabber tool, and for example this CBD resin, we take a little and place it in the inner area of this piece of the capsule. We load it up and once it is filled, we screw it closed and place it this way up with the hole facing downwards and close, and now the vaporiser is prepared to vaporise resins.
For flowers, it’s very similar, if we use the herbal capsule. In this capsule we have some ground up weed, we could prepare several capsules, and simply placing the capsule inside the bowl with the grid upwards. Ready again… Very simple!
This vaporiser can be used with ground herbs, but also by putting grass directly in the bowl, which is what I'm going to do right now. I grab some grass, I could grind it or crumble it, in this case I'm going to crumble it and put it inside the vaporiser, it has a big ceramic bowl for a good amount of bud and, using the tool we press it a little without squeezing too much, and we can close the vaporiser.
To switch it on, push the top button (this one here) 5 times and the screen lights up. With the "+" and "-" buttons we can select the temperature, and once the temperature is selected, for example we’ll set it to 195ºC in this case, we press the button above and at this moment we see how the screen changes and the temperature starts to rise. It will go up to the temperature that we’ve set with the buttons "+" and "-" we that is 195ºC, when it reaches this temperature it’s going to stay there at 195 and we’ll see a small icon that means that the bowl is hot (it's a smoke-like icon) okay? we are at 190ºC, we’ll get there soon… exactly, 195ºC. There we see the icon and the vaporiser is ready to use. So we take this part of the mouthpiece and we inhale… Delicious!
Let's see how this hybrid is also used to vaporise e-liquids from electronic cigarettes. The first thing we are going to do is stop the vaporiser with the top button, so it turns off, why? Because this button controls the vaporisation of herbs, resins and essences, and the lower button controls the vaporisation of e-liquids. Let's see, first of all we clean the bowl, press the button, open it and with the tools we empty the grass we already vaped. We empty it and clean it with the brush. Next we can unscrew the mouthpiece and if we want to keep it in here like it was at the beginning, we close and replace the cap.
And now we turn the vaporiser over and it's another function. This side vaporises e-liquids. First we take the atomiser, we open it and we fill it with liquid, in this case with CBD… with the dropper which has a safety cap, as you can see, and we fill the tank. This will soak the filter inside, or the cotton, which surrounds the electrical resistance. Perfect, we’ve filled it correctly, we close it, we turn it over and we screw it in.
To start the vaporiser press this button 5 times, 1-2-3-4-5 and we will see that the screen lights up. In this case it does not give us the temperature but the power in watts, and with the "+/-" we are going to raise the power to the maximum, which in this case is 60 watts… there, it’s going up, and the screen also shows us the resistance and the voltage that it uses, here on the side in small. 60 watts, just by clicking here we can vaporise… A perfect toke, no?
Well, you’ve seen how a hybrid vaporiser like this one works, the Flowermate. When we finish the session, just press 5 times and the vaporiser turns off. I’m removing the atomiser to show you that here, beside the atomiser thread is the Mini USB socket, and using the cable that comes in the box, you plug it in to charge.
