Fresh Citrus is a feminized variety from Higher Heights, a breeder based in Mendocino County (California) recognized for working with highly expressive terpene profiles. Born from the cross Carambola x Pineapple Mojito, it's distinguished by its powerful fruit and citrus aroma, and a hybrid-type effect. An option designed for growers seeking signature flavor and a short cycle.

Genetics: two citrus lines from the same house

Carambola —(Sunburn x Green Tea) x Brozé— contributes the loud citrus with incense and gas nuances that identifies the breeder. Pineapple Mojito, itself a daughter of Carambola and Lemon Limez ((Sour Diesel x Biker Kush) x Key Lime Pie), adds the tropical and acidic side. The resulting plant grows fast, wide and robust, with long branches and many tops due to its powerful branching.

In cultivation: fast, wide and very resinous

Flowering is situated between 8 and 9 weeks; the breeder himself points to about 8 weeks with some phenotypes slightly longer. Outdoors it's harvested in early October. It appreciates lower and interior pruning to concentrate energy on the high tops. Purple phenotypes are frequent, producing dense and elongated buds with granulated texture resin, and are especially resistant to various problems; the greener phenotypes grow more with similar resin.

Flavor and effect: citrus, tropical fruit and gas background

The breeder speaks of bright citrus with gas, skunk and sour notes, with sharp tropical fruit, mint and rum. The effect is hybrid in character.
