Although the project maintains a discreet profile, both specialized distributors and industry collaborators describe it as a family operation focused on the production of high-quality cannabis and the preservation of a cultivation philosophy far removed from industrial models.

The philosophy of Higher Heights is based on artisanal cultivation (craft cannabis), respect for Mendocino's agricultural tradition, and the development of varieties with their own identity. Their work pays special attention to phenotypic selection, terpene profiles, genetic expression, and the user's final experience, prioritizing organoleptic quality and the plant's effects over commercial trends focused solely on flower appearance. In 2023, their Mendo Crumble variety obtained a Gold Award for its total terpene content and two Silver Awards in myrcene and caryophyllene analyses during a competition organized in Mendocino County. Additionally, Nate has participated as a jury member of the Kaliseeds Homegrown Cup USA, alongside other prestigious breeders.
