K.C. 42 feminized is a K.C. Brains variety with sativa dominance and a marked Haze character. It has a fresh citrus aroma with soft hashish undertones, a THC around 20-22%, and a clear, energetic effect. Genetics: sativa with New Zealand roots

It comes from the cross of a New Zealand's Best from 1999 with a K.C. 639 male from 2001. Its New Zealand heritage provides traits typical of a traditional landrace variety. The plant behaves like a typical sativa, with a tall, slender structure, narrow light green leaves, and thick buds. Two phenotypes have been described: one elongated with slower flowering, and another shorter, more compact, and faster.

In cultivation: vigorous and high-yielding

Indoors it reaches around 170 cm and needs between 9 and 12 weeks of flowering, with yields of up to 150 g per plant. Like a good sativa, it appreciates generous lighting. Outdoors it can reach 2-2.5 meters and yield up to 1,300 g per plant. Harvest arrives in late October and may extend into November. It shows good resistance to fungi and pests, and responds well both grown in groups and as individual plants.

Flavor and effect: citrus, Haze, and energetic

During flowering it releases a fresh citrus smell with light hashish touches, which intensifies as the buds form. Its aromatic profile maintains that highly recognizable Haze character. The effect is cerebral, clear, and active, with notable intensity and long duration, backed by a THC around 20-22%.
