Nanolux DE Dual (600w x2) is the result of splitting the 1200w DE into 2 x 600W output lamps. This allows the fixture to run two different types of bulb such as a 2K HPS lamp and the double jacketed 6K MH (metal halide lamps).
The dual lamp combination creates the ideal light spectrum for the plants, enhancing results throughout the entire growing cycle.
The ballasts are power adjustable, 300w x2, 450w x2, 600w x2 or 630w x2. Energy can be saved by not running the lamps at maximum power when not required by the plants, in particular during the first and last weeks of the growing cycle.
When using two or more Nanolux DE Dual devices, the proper layout of the bulbs must be respected so that the correct light spectrum is always produced. For example, in a full set of 2 units, the HPS bulb fits in left-hand socket and the double jacketed MH bulb in the right-hand socket. The same layout should be repeated in the second unit.
