Its parentals, Papaya and Fruit Joy, are notable not only for the name, for the work and selection conducted to pass their best characteristics to Papaya Bx1.

The Papaya clone used is from LaKalada, encounter between KC Mango #33 and Afghan. To enhance Papaya's tropical and fruity attributes, it was crossed with its descendant Fruit Joy (Barbara Bud x Papaya). Fruit Joy is a three-way collaboration where LaKalada provided the male Papaya, SWA Supersoil the female Barbara Bud and Grateful Seeds the breeding.

Papaya Bx1, the result of this hybridisation, is an Indica plant. It is short and with a fir-shaped structure, thus enhancing the central flower. This attribute makes it ideal for SOG or similar cultivation techniques.

Papaya Bx1 is a plant with a fast-flowering period of about 7-8 weeks indoors, and ready in early October outdoors. It offers, both indoors and outdoors, abundant yields of immeasurable quality.
