It is an electronic device to measure the THC and CBD levels of marijuana buds in just 10 seconds, providing information on the potency of the flowers harvested from self-cultivation. What is Purpl Pro?
It is a small, square and very well finished device. It works by means of a close infrared spectroscope that emits light and provides a reading, which takes into account the reflected light, reporting data in THC, CBD, humidity and water activity percentages.
Purpl Pro's light spectrum reacts with the molecules, resulting in a digital printout that correlates with the concentration. Purpl Pro is calibrated based on HLPC measurements (liquid chromatography) from state-certified laboratories.

How to use Purpl Pro
It is very easy to use. Calibrate the device, download the application and make the registration. Turn on the device, make sure the battery is charged, and connect it to the application to start the analysis.
Next, Purpl Pro is placed on the black rectangular accessory, opening the lid at the centre. In this aperture, centred over the Purpl Pro lens, the sample, previously crushed with the grinder, is placed. The grinder is included in the kit, thus preventing the material to be analysed from being manipulated with the hands. The lid is placed again, pressing lightly so that the contact between the sample and the lens is correct, thus obtaining optimal results in the analysis.

The whole process is managed using the App, in a very simple and intuitive way that any user can operate easily. The reading is very fast and stable; in just about 10 seconds, the Purpl Pro reading is available in the application, being able to perform multiple analyses in a short time.
It is undoubtedly an essential tool for measuring the two main cannabis cannabinoids, THC and CBD to within 2%. It offers a maximum detection of 15% for CBD and 30% for THC. An ideal tool for breeders, seedbanks and cannabis associations among others.
