Genetics and origin: the landrace legacy of classic haze

Amnesia Haze is the result of a cross between landrace varieties from four distinct regions: Jamaican, Thai, South Asia and Cambodia. The original phenotype was developed by breeder Soma and later transferred to Barney's Farm laboratories after winning the Cannabis Cup. This purely landrace lineage explains both its 80% sativa / 20% indica character and the complexity of its expression, with vigorous stretch, elongated lime green buds and a very prominent crystalline resin production.

Indoor and outdoor cultivation: sativa vigor with great reward

In indoor cultivation, Barney's Farm Amnesia Haze requires between 70 and 85 days of flowering (10–12 weeks) and reaches a height of between 100 and 140 cm. Its marked stretch during flowering makes it especially receptive to canopy control techniques such as LST or SCROG, which allows optimizing space and maximizing light exposure. With proper management, production can reach 650 g/m². This is a medium difficulty variety, more suitable for growers with basic or intermediate experience than for absolute beginners.

Outdoors, this plant displays its full potential in warm climates, easily exceeding 200 cm in height and producing up to 1 kg per plant. Harvest occurs in the third or fourth week of October. Its elongated, fluffy buds, covered with a dense layer of trichomes and dotted with intense orange pistils, are the visual signature of its classic sativa heritage.
