Alchimia is glad to present DNA Cake by DNA Genetics, a cross between Gelato Sorbet and Lava Cake notable for its high resin, terpenes production and ease of cultivation. It is an 80% Indica variety with low growth, saving pruning and trellising. A variety now available in our feminised cannabis seeds catalogue.

DNA Cake Cannabis Strain, Indica structure and effects

On the one hand the parental Gelato Sorbet by DNA Genetics, a cross between Gelato 33 and Sorbet, easily offers excellent results with bluish flowers and high resin and terpenes production. It offers a fruity flavour, inherited from Gelato, and a euphoric to relaxing effect, depending on the situation in which it is consumed.

On the other hand Lava Cake, a well-known Indica in the US. It is a cross between Grape Pie x Thin Mint Cookies, with a flavour similar to mint chocolate and a powerful and relaxing effect inherited from its ancestors. It produces flowers in green, purple and even blue tones.

The result is DNA Cake, a clearly Indica variety both in its cultivation and in the effect produced by its flowers. It is a short plant with medium internodal distance, producing buds loaded with resin and terpenes.

Indoors, DNA Cake is easy to cultivate and requires no special care. The Indica structure makes it ideal for SOG growing. Halfway through flowering, green and blue tones appear on the flowers. The harvest is ready in about 60 days, with a yield of up to 400g per m2.

In outdoor cultivation, grown in late June, the plant does not exceed 2m in size, which can be convenient if one wishes to go unnoticed. It offers a yield that leaves no grower unsatisfied, with the harvest ready relatively early in October.
