Alchimia is delighted to introduce Ducksfoot by Nomad Seed Bank, a cannabis strain that presents a mutation in its leaves that makes them resemble a duck's foot because of its leaflets joint. It is a great plant to consider in outdoor and guerrilla cultivation. A variety now available in our regular cannabis seeds catalogue.
Ducksfoot F5, cannabis with mutant leaves
Ducksfoot is originally from Australia, introduced to the market thanks to the work by breeder Wally Duck. This plant presents a mutation in its leaves due to a recessive gene. It is a Sativa dominant genetics, and here Nomad Seed Bank brings a F5 (fifth generation) version. This variety gives a good yield of flower, with a maturation period of about 10-12 weeks. Outdoors it is ready to harvest in mid-October, provided with enough space it leads to high yields. The flowers offer a terpenes profile with incense and woody undertones.
Ducksfoot cannabis strain, a guerrilla plant
Ducksfoot is ideal for guerrilla cultivation due to its curious appearance, as at first glance it does not look like a common Sativa cannabis plant due to the leaf mutation (Pinnatophytophylla stabilised). It is a good variety to use for basic breeding and to develop new hybrids. Definitely, it is one for growers looking to differentiate themselves with a great genetics.
