Genetics and origin of Frosty's Auto Freak

Frosty's Auto Freak comes from the cross between Frosty's Purple Freak and Guavalato Auto, two parent strains with very marked yet complementary traits. Frosty's Purple Freak contributes the "freak" mutation, responsible for its morphology that's barely recognizable to outsiders, as well as its spectacular purple coloration and an aromatic profile dominated by sweet berry notes. This genetic was already known for its unique personality and striking aesthetics.

On the other hand, Guavalato Auto, one of the most aromatic autoflowering strains developed by James Loud, brings great vigor and very deep fruity notes, with that characteristic meaty nuance that makes it unmistakable. The project's challenge was to fix all these recessive traits without losing stability, flavor, or effects.

After several generations of meticulous selection by the Khalifa Genetics team, they achieved a genetic line that expresses its freaky character, purple color, and autoflowering condition, while also improving terpene intensity and the grow's overall consistency.

Mutant cultivation of Frosty's Auto Freak

As with many mutant genetics, Frosty's Auto Freak may show somewhat slower growth during the first weeks. However, thanks to selection focused on vigor, once the first 2-3 weeks are passed, growth accelerates notably, reaching a pace similar to non-mutant autos like Guavalato Auto.

The vegetative phase is short and flowering begins automatically after about 5-6 weeks from germination. It's a plant with low nutritional demands: in most light substrates it can complete its cycle without additional fertilizers, making it an excellent choice for outdoor cultivation with minimal intervention.

In humid environments, especially outdoors, it tends to form somewhat airier flowers, which reduces the risk of mold. Indoors, however, it surprises with quite dense buds for a mutant autoflowering strain. It responds well to gentle LST techniques, although aggressive pruning is not recommended due to its short life cycle.
