Hawaiian Snow is a feminized photoperiod seed from Green House Seeds, a hybrid with a marked sativa character that has accumulated numerous awards over the years, including first place at the HTCC 2003 and the IC420 Growers Cup 2007. Arjan's personal favorite, it stands out for its unmistakable Haze profile and a long-lasting cerebral high.

Genetics and origin of Hawaiian Snow

Hawaiian Snow is born from the cross between Hawaiian Sativa and Laos, two genetics that explain its clear sativa dominance (around 80% sativa and 20% indica). From this union emerges a plant with a Christmas tree-shaped sativa structure, long secondary branches and a high THC content (approximately 18-23%) compared to very low CBD levels. The result is a potent variety with an eminently cerebral character.

Indoor and outdoor cultivation

Indoors, Hawaiian Snow requires a long flowering period of about 12 weeks and can offer productions of up to 700 g/m². Being a tall plant with wide branching, it's advisable to apply a short growth period, and it's ideal for LST techniques and manipulation that help control its height, which ranges around 100-150 cm.

Outdoors, it reaches its maximum splendor, with harvests in the last week of October in the northern hemisphere and productions of up to 1200 g per plant. It's a very tall plant, capable of exceeding 180-240 cm, so it needs support. It adapts well to equatorial, tropical, subtropical and temperate climates. Due to its prolonged flowering and stature, it's a medium-demanding variety, recommended for growers with some experience.

Aromas, flavors and effects

On the aromatic and taste front, Hawaiian Snow displays a characteristic Haze profile accompanied by citrus nuances, tropical fruits and spicy touches, with a sweet background. Its long, resinous and sticky buds concentrate this entire range of sensations that make it a very aromatic variety.

Its effects are typical of a great sativa: a slow-onset cerebral high (creeper effect), very long-lasting, that lifts the mood and is energetic and stimulating. It's an ideal choice for social moments, daytime use and creative activities, perfect for sharing with friends.
