A classic tropical Sativa landrace, Honduras grows vigorously and with good branching. It shows very high resistance to humidity and fungal pathogens, giving huge yields of large colas with an excellent leaf/calyx ratio, delicious citric, floral, woody, musky flavours and a clean, positive and energetic high.
ACE's Panama landrace is a resinous and productive pure Sativa from Central America with delicious lemony, incense flavours and a euphoric, clean, warm and psychedelic high. It often shows the famous red-pink pistils that made the legendary Panama Red and Colombian Punto Rojo so famous.
Honduras x Panama - Vigorous, productive and potent Sativa
Honduras x Panama grows with plenty of vigour, reaching a large size and developing a typical Christmas tree structure with a massive main cola and strong, productive side branches. The influence of Panama works to reduce the stretching at the onset of flowering and add robustness to the stems and branches. The large and heavy colas will take on a beautiful purple colour in cold temperatures at the end of flowering, with some plants showing the distinctive pink pistils of Panama Red.
It is highly suitable for indoor cultivation under high intensity lights, where its large main cola make it a great candidate for the SOG (Sea of Green) method. To keep them to a more manageable size, ACE Seeds recommend switching the plants to a flowering photoperiod 15 days after germination and giving moderate levels of nutrition during the entire life cycle. The flowers will be ready to harvest after 12-13 weeks of bloom and you can expect your patience to be rewarded by an astounding yield of top-quality flowers.
With a longer growth period, Honduras x Panama adapts very well to SCROG cultivation, reacting positively to pruning and training techniques, a method that works particularly well outdoors, where plants can get really big. Outdoor plants will be mature in the first 2 weeks of November, delivering truly massive yields. The best results will be achieved in a tropical or subtropical zone, but it can be grown with great success in Mediterranean-type coastal climates up to 43º latitude.
