Once it is connected to the meter, we need to calibrate the probe to ensure the correct parameters for perfect operation. The procedure is done using EC 1413 calibration solution. We do this by placing the probe in the calibration solution.
Once the probe is in the calibration solution, the meter should display 1.4 ms/cm. If the reading is higher or lower, we will have to calibrate the meter using a small screwdriver to set the parameter to 1.4. Once calibration is completed, the meter is ready to provide reliable readings.
