Included with the MX ICE 200 LiTE are five filtering screens, ranging from 45μ to 250μ, which allow for the separation of the extract into different quality grades. Extracting hashish with MX ICE LiTE - Instructions:
- Fill the tank with a layer of ice, followed by a layer of material (buds or trim), and then another layer of ice. Finally, add filtered water until the ice is covered.
- Use the control panel to set the desired speed (RPM) and direction. The extraction time typically ranges from 3 to 20 minutes, depending on the material type and quality.
- The Safety Chamber will protect and retain the trichomes, minimising their dispersion.
- Prepare the collection tank by placing its screens in order, with the smallest screen at the bottom and the largest at the top. Allow the water to drain from the extraction tank into the filter tank.
- Before extracting, rinse the bags with cold water to ensure thorough filtering of the resin.
- Spread the resin in trays in the thinnest layers possible to facilitate even drying. This can be done manually or by using freeze drying for a professional finish.
