Genetics and Origin of Shazam

Shazam is born from the cross between Zoap and Black Magic. Zoap is an award-winning variety from Wizard Trees developed in collaboration with Deep East, while Black Magic is also used by the breeder in other lines and contributes high resin production, compact buds and a marked gassy character. From this combination emerges a plant with variable phenotypes; those closer to Zoap produce more rounded flowers, and those leaning towards Black Magic show greater calyx definition and structure, always maintaining that characteristic gas touch.

Growing Shazam Indoors

Indoors, Shazam completes its flowering in around 8-9 weeks and shows medium stretch. It generates large, dense and heavy buds, with thick colas and very high resin coverage that gives it an almost unreal frosted appearance.

Its productivity is very high and its cultivation is considered easy, making it accessible for different experience levels and especially attractive for commercial grows. Outdoors it has excellent vigor, and the harvests are more than satisfactory and of great quality; when temperatures drop at the end of flowering it is prone to showing beautiful colorations.

Aromas, Flavors and Effects

Shazam's aromatic profile stands out for an intense candy sherb gas, with sweet notes of candy and sherbet with a gasoline background, reinforced by the depth that Black Magic contributes. On the palate it maintains that flavor-oriented line, with a creamy and sweet sherbet finished off by the unmistakable gas touch.

It is a hybrid effect variety, with an uplifting onset and a relaxing peak.
