This hybrid comes from the cross between Swiss Sativa, Super Skunk and Northern Lights, three pillars that explain its character very well. Swiss Sativa, linked in some sources to a hybrid known as Erdbeer (strawberry in German) provides fruity nuances and a fresh touch; while Super Skunk imprints that recognizable aromatic intensity and productive vigor; Northern Lights adds robust structure, bud density and an almost metallic spicy background. The result is a balanced plant that inherits the best from each parent.

Indoor and Outdoor Cultivation

Indoors, The Church completes its flowering in about 8 - 9 weeks and can reach yields of up to 800 g/m². It develops a bushy Christmas tree-type structure, with few leaves in the bud zone, and responds very well to techniques such as SCROG, SOG, LST and main-lining, as well as hydroponic cultivation, which makes it easy to squeeze out its full potential.

Outdoors it is a vigorous and resistant plant, with harvest towards the end of September or beginning of October in the northern hemisphere (beginning of May in the south) and yields of up to 900 g per plant. It stands out for its great resistance to mold and pests, which makes it ideal for humid or rainy areas, although it also handles dry conditions well and resists wind. For all these reasons, it is an accessible variety even for growers with little experience.

In aroma, The Church is pungent and skunky, with sweet notes of red fruits and a spicy, almost metallic background, inherited from Northern Lights; occasionally with hints of pine and citrus or lemon touches. On the palate it confirms this complexity, with a sweet and fruity profile with touches of pine and spices, finished off by a tangy point that many tasters highlight. Its dense buds, full of trichomes and with a good calyx-to-leaf ratio, anticipate this richness of flavor.

Its effects start with an initial strongly indica sensation that evolves towards a long-lasting cerebral high.
