White Noise strain, the encounter between two cannabis giants
On the one hand White Widow, probably the best-known Dutch variety. It is a cross between a Landrace Sativa from Brazil and a Landrace Sativa/Indica from Kerala, South India.
The first “White” genetics were developed by Shantibaba in 1994, winning its first Cannabis Cup in 1995 and many more afterwards. At the time, its success was a real breakthrough given its innovative characteristics. It was certainly very different from the Northern Lights, Skunk and Haze hybrids offered on the Dutch commercial cannabis scene until then.
It offered a potency and taste that conquered many consumers. Its influence has reached the point where in areas where cannabis has also become a cultural factor, it is always possible to find an exceptional White Widow or Widow hybrid plant maintained by some circle of breeders or more initiated consumers.
On the other hand, Girl Scout Cookies (also called "GSC"), genetics that came out twenty years later than White Widow. It is a strain developed by Cookie Fam that would conquer the US West Coast first and then the whole world.
Like White Widow, it offered fresh air to the cannabis scene and an improved hybrid effect modulation. Today it is so well-known that many of the younger generation in the US use the term Girl Scout Cookies to refer to the cannabis strain and not the biscuits of the same name.
White Noise is a cross between White Widow and Space Cookies. It is a feminised hybrid with 80% Indica genetics that appeals to cannabis growers and consumers alike, thanks to its ease of cultivation, effect, and taste.
White Noise cannabis strain cultivation
It is a plant with a low structure, not growing too vertically. It presents a good ramification, particularly secondary branches. This makes it ideal for the use of apex pruning, SCROG and even SOG methods. In Mediterranean climate areas it can grow like a White Widow and reach a much larger size.
It is a plant with typical Indica characteristics, with quite wide leaves, robust structure, and a good resistance to mould, especially botrytis. This makes White Noise a very suitable variety for outdoor cultivation between 50°N and 50°S, with the harvest ready in early October for the earliest phenotypes. Indoors, White Noise can yield up to 700g per plant under good conditions.
White Noise, when cultivated indoors, is ready to harvest in about 8-9 weeks of flowering, with a yield of up to 450g per m2. Paradise Seeds advises to wait at least this period to obtain the best results.

White Noise, because of its genetic heritage, does not produce large and long buds, yet dense and heavy. Buds with a thick and shiny resin layer that stands out and attracts attention and adds value to the final product quality.
White Noise offers an earthy, minty, chestnut organoleptic background with lovely, sweet citric and red berry notes, with slightly vanilla pine undertones. The flavour profile combines an Old School aroma with the biscuity sweetness that brings an additional delicacy, adding an extra dimension to the taste.
It produces a very balanced effect, a mix of uplifting pleasure and relaxation of body and mind, with a lucid edge. This functional clarity allows one to be creative, in a good mood with friends, or just enjoying a great time.
White Noise delivers a THC level of up to 18-22%, and a CBD concentration of less than 0.1%. So, it is easy to understand how its consumption brings a smile to the face.
