Genetics: 90's AK-47 x 76' Thai Stick

The cross starts from the sativa phenotype of Serious Seeds' AK-47 from the late nineties, the one where the Colombian line dominates, pollinated with their own selection of 76' Thai Stick from Masterthai seeds preserved for years. AK-47 contributes vigor, abundant branching and good resin production; the Thai landrace adds rapid flowering and that unmistakable aromatic quality. The result is a robust plant with a bushy structure and very good bud-to-leaf ratio.

In cultivation: simple and generously sized

It flowers in 8 - 9 weeks indoors, a quick pace for a sativa, and remains manageable under lights. It's an undemanding variety, suitable even for beginners, and performs well in grow rooms, ventilated greenhouses or balconies and terraces sheltered from rain. In southern Spain and other warm areas it can be grown fully outdoors. With sufficient space it grows tall and wide, with large harvests and dense buds.

Flavor and effect: licorice, earth and old-school Thai

The nose is dominated by licorice, with an earthy background and a spicy finish reminiscent of classic Thai. On the palate it's herbaceous, slightly sweet and with floral accents.
