Genetics: the GMO clone adapted to autoflowering format

GMO Auto is born from the cross between GMO Cut, the selection also known as Garlic Cookies, and Chemdog Auto from the same breeder. The project's goal was to preserve the aromatic identity of the original GMO and stabilize it in a reliable autoflowering strain, currently at F4 generation. Its genotype sits around 80% indica and 20% sativa.

GMO contributes that raw profile of garlic, onion and mushroom, the abundant resin production and potency. Chemdog Auto, whose autoflowering line comes from Fast Buds Auto #1 and Lowryder #1, adds the automatic flowering gene and reinforces the chemical and gasoline notes characteristic of the Chem family.

The plant develops a medium-sized structure, vigorous and well-branched, with solid branches and short internodes. The flowers are somewhat more open than in other denser lines from the breeder, a selection decision to preserve terpene quality and fidelity to the original GMO.

In cultivation: manageable and productive

It's an easy-to-manage genetic that adapts to indoor, outdoor, greenhouse and mixed lighting. Its behavior is homogeneous between plants, which makes it easy to organize the growing space and plan the harvest.

It completes its cycle in about 10-11 weeks from germination, reaching a height between 80 and 120 cm. Indoors, production is around 450-600 g/m², while outdoors each plant typically yields between 50 and 200 g, depending on pot size, light and management.

Its aromatic intensity should be taken into account: in the final weeks of flowering the smell is very pronounced, so indoors the use of carbon filters is recommended. It's also worth being patient at the end of the cycle, as its characteristic garlic and funk touch is fully expressed when the plant finishes maturing.

Its sticky flowers covered in trichomes make it a very interesting option for those working with resin extractions.
