Lemon Citron vegetative growth is fast, with a vigorous development producing a plant with a robust structure and solid branches ideal for growing large plants outdoors or SCROG cultivation indoors. Its long and thin leaves have a clear Sativa tendency allowing the light to penetrate well favouring a compact development and producing long colas of buds during flowering.
This structure requires a staking or meshing, both indoors and outdoors in order to support the bud weight and avoid branches breaking, even if very strong, on rainy and windy days as the plants can reach 4m.
Lemon Citron flowering
During the flowering period it should be taken into account that it quickly doubles in size after the photoperiod change. This should be controlled by pruning or bending stems using a support mesh. The harvest is ready in about 9 weeks indoors with a yield of up to 450-600g per m2. Outdoors plants can grow up to 4m providing a high yield of even 4000g per plant.
