The Aurora is the new LEC CMH lighting system from Lumatek, a company well-known for producing high quality HPS electronic ballasts with adjustable power.

Lumatek presents Lumatek Aurora, a 315w ceramic discharge metal-halide kit. A quality lighting system with an adjustable potentiometer. An integrated all-in-one fixture combining the reflector, the ballast and a 3100 K lamp.

Lumatek Aurora can be remotely controlled using the Lumatek digital control panel. This panel can simultaneously control different extensive horticultural cultivation equipment and also, has the option to simulate sunrise and sunset with a timed fade to full brightness, slowly increasing power when lights turn on, and reducing power when lights turn off. The digital control panel is sold separately.

For safety the CMH/LEC CMD ballast uses full circuit protection including open/short circuit, over/low voltage, end of lamp life/rectification and EMI suppression (Electromagnetic interferences).

The bulb is of high quality, engineered for use with CMH LEC Lumatek ballasts. This bulb is the 3100 Kelvins, but really offers a produces a wide colour spectrum, from blue for healthy plant growth to red and far-red ideal for plant flowering.

By using the Lumatek CMH/LEC CMD Aurora Kit it is possible to harvest almost same yield of flowers as when using a 600w HPS sodium lamp but cutting the consumption of electricity by half. Less power, more efficiency.
