Northern Light Special feminized is a variety from KC Brains with indica dominance that descends from the Northern Lights line. It has a penetrating and sweet flavor, a THC content between 18 and 20% and a clearly relaxing effect. It's ideal for growers looking for a compact, discreet and uniform plant, both indoors and outdoors.

Genetics

It's a mostly indica genetics based on Northern Lights, although its exact cross hasn't been made public. From that heritage it retains the short and compact structure, a good proportion of flowers to leaves and dense, resinous buds. It lends itself very well to obtaining clones, and topping helps to branch it out and get more cuttings.

In cultivation: compact and productive

Indoors it reaches about 90 cm, normally not exceeding 120 cm, and completes flowering in about 7 - 9 weeks. Indoor production ranges from 160 to 350 g per plant. Outdoors it can reach 2-2.5 meters and yield up to 750 g per plant, with harvest around mid-October. It grows in a simple and uniform way, tolerates pruning and training well and smells little during cultivation. It's advisable to ensure good ventilation when humidity is high.

Flavor and effect: sweet, earthy and relaxing

The profile is penetrating with a sweet finish, with hints of sweet lemon, pine and earth, and the smoke has body. The effect arrives quickly and is potent: it deeply relaxes body and mind and tends toward a heavy state, more appropriate for moments of rest. Its THC sits between 18 and 20%.
