Alchimiaweb presents Plagron perlite, a substrate that improves aeration and water retention in growing media such as soil or coconut fibre, and is also occasionally used as a hydroponic substrate.
Perlite comes from volcanic rocks baked at over 1000ºC, greatly improving the substrate's aeration and drainage, as well as its overall structure. The use of Plagron Perlite ensures a germ-free product which is always of the same quality, ensuring optimum results.
Plagron Perlite is applied to improve the substrate by mixing 10-35% of the product with the growing medium, improving aeration and water absorption. The plant roots develop more quickly and improves fertilisers’ assimilation. This undoubtedly translates into more abundant harvests.
